i don't understand why they release certain balls in the usa and different balls in other countries. i wonder if the sting is pretty much the same ball as the bite?
i'm sure that some if not all of these balls have usa counterparts just under a different name. anyone know?

I wonder if that Infernal Fate is a hint to a new US line from Hammer.

It could be but I doubt it usually the international balls are the same as the US released balls just with different colors and different names everything else (coverstocks, core, rg diff) are usually the same as the US releases.

Looks like it's using the "one" core so I doubt it.

The sting is polished, maybe a polished version of the sanded bite. I've heard (but am not sure) that other countries don't us as much oil as the US but I have no first hand proof.

well that could be the case. i don't know either, but that would make sense. i wish i could see into the future so i could know what hammer is planning.

The reason there are more International releases then US release is because the International Ball Distributors request them... (Maybe even demand them.)
Alot of these balls look like Ebonite Core and Hammer Covers.

Yea different distributors request certain core/cover combos in special colors and names. thats why there are so many.

I hope the newest hammer ball on the USBC approval list is a domestic release just because of the name. It would fit in well with the No Mercy's. Its called the "Ultimatum". They also have a BWB II, but you can almost bet your life its an overseas release.

That raw hammer crime looks great.

...and the Real Lucifer Mighty is using the Scalien core from the Ebonite Xxxcel.
Personally I think that whoever ends up buying these balls will be very happy with them as the Xcel and V2 series of balls were great. I'm not sure though whether many would be sold "in the west" as there seems to be a reluctance to go with anything resembling yesterdays technology.

Send our guy in Singapore the cash and give him the ball specs. By the time you get through with the exchange rate, shipping and drilling the ball it should only run you around $500-$600 for the ball.

My buddy just bought a ball off of ebay that was an international brunswick ball. We did some research and came up with some answers. Remember the aussie that bowled in the Denny's world championship in Indianapolis? We were there. We talked to him and he said the lanes overseas tend to be much drier than what we have here in America. He had a difficult time trying to find a ball that he liked. Their equipment isn't AS reactive as ours, although it does still move just fine! Just a FYI for you guys!

There was 2, Frawley and Belmonte, I would say your were talking about Frawley cause Jason doesnt have to worry about making a ball turn.

I would also be careful saying "elsewhere in the world"
Brett has told us on numerous times that Aussie lanes tend to be drier, whereas I know Asian lanes tend to be veritable swamps, and that the balls designed for that market are flat-out monsters.
The overseas Brunswick Zone I have is for the Asian market, and is indeed a beast.
