So you've bought a MoRich ball on the Internet
Good news -- We at MoRich appreciate your patronage and hope you enjoy the experience! ...
BAD NEWS -- Bowling balls are not part of our online shop because we DO NOT sell our bowling balls on the Internet. If we did, don't you think we'd be the first place you'd want to look?
...
Since we don't deal with these sites we can't control what they do or what you get. So here's the unfortunate catch...if you have problems with what you bought, please call the business from which you bought the ball and NOT the MoRich toll free number! Even though our name and number are on the box, we didn't sell you the ball and can't help you with any problem surrounding your purchase. You MUST work that out with the business you purchased it from. As the old saying goes, "buyer beware!"

I think if Ebonite, Storm and Brunswick went this route times would be better for the pro shops!

yes it would make pro shop sales definitely go up. i've decided since i love the way my pro shop drills my stuff i'm going to support him and buy my stuff from him. it's actually pretty close if you count drilling after you buy it off the net. plus i won't have to wait a week! :D

Haha, thats funny they would actually say that, but it's true. I buy mine now again from my local shop, I have it next day and the price is basically the same

I'm super stoked on my pro shop right now. We just got a new partial owner and he is awesome (the previous driller is now an owner as well and he's super cool). The new driller has taken training by Mo Pinel himself! He has all the latest equipment like a Haus machine, DeTerminator, and a Rejuvenator. Plus he really knows his stuff and said it takes him over an hour to fit someone with a ball, before he even starts drilling! Good drillers are hard to find, I'd pay extra to get my balls done right. Plus they throw in free resurfacing and rejuvenation for balls they sell. But having some one who will watch you bowl before they recommend a ball to you is priceless...
And he was stoked I had a No Mercy Beat'n he really understood the science behind the core and cover stock, he highly recommended it.

Looks like MoRich has some warranty issues with internet balls that they were taking care of. The message behind the message was: You got the damn ball cheap, what more do you want?
BTW-The Solid LevRG looked very interesting. Might have to give that one a try.

Not to take this topic further off course but....
A friend of mine (who recently earned the nickname of Mr. 300) has the original LevRG. In fact, his first 300 this season came with that ball shortly after he bought it. BTW, he now has 5 300 games in our house this year and we don't have a bunch of people throwing them.
Anyway, he buys plenty of balls like many of us and I noticed stopped using the LevRG not too long after that 300 game. Turns out that particular ball does not like the Ebonite Powerhouse Energizer cleaner. Supposedly, the ball soaked it up like a sponge and stopped hooking. He had to use the hot water bath method to get the ball back to normal.
I don't doubt the guy because he cleans his gear regularly and knows his bowling. He also said it's the only ball he experienced that with. However, I think he is going to switch to Storm's ball cleaner for now on.
I'm still staying with my Ebonite cleaner. Works great for me and my Pain is still going strong after a year and a half of being my main ball and I use it after every session.

I'm not totally surprised. Morich's C4 family of coverstocks have a very high oil absorption rate. Even on heavy oil, these balls don't come back with thick oil rings. The only Hammer I've experienced this with was my Toxic when it was at 500. That was a good experiment, the Toxic can handle some oil. I was one of the few who experienced the shine left by Powerhouse Energizer. I stopped using it shortly after than.

Slap, any suggestions on a better cleaner to use? The Ebonite Energizer is made up primarily of orange oil right? I keep using it because that's what Hammer recommends but is that orange oil getting soaked into the cover stock and weakening it? I did notice a change in reaction in my BWB after using it a few times.

I'm not going to say it's a bad cleaner, however since the merger ebonite is now recommending energizer for polished balls and clean & dull for dull balls. Once I finished my bottle of energizer, I decided to try something else.
Right now I'm using Neo tacks Hook It on everything. Only because I got a real good deal on a huge bottle at my pro shop. Before the Hook it, I used the Black Magic Rejuvinator and it worked well. I would order it again. Next time I place an order from Buddies for supplies, I'm going to try the Lanemaster's cleaner. Supposedly it's the best spray cleaner, if you can tolerate the strong chemical smell. Hook It is pretty smelly too so I doubt I'll even know the difference.

Well, I suppose Energizer would be fine on anything polished. Any opinion on Clean and Dull? I'll probably just pick up a small bottle of the Storm cleaner to use on my dull balls since the pro shop doesn't carry any of the other ones you mentioned.

I've been using Clean and Dull, Power Wash and Energizer this year.
Clean and Dull does a good job... this last week I was leaving alot of solid 9's so I wiped the ball down with some Energizer... no more 9's... could be a fluke, think I just made a adjustment right before or just after wiping the ball down.
Power Wash is a good spray cleaner. (Thinking it like it alot better than Energizer.
Energizer does get alot of stuff of the surface of the ball. Alot of us have been using for several years with good success. Either way I think well all still have to deep clean.
(Good Post Can... saw that a couple weeks ago, just did think a whole lot about it.)

i have used the storm cleaner and it worked pretty good. recently i have been using the powerhouse ball cleaner (not the energizer) and that works very well. it doesn't have the scent like the energizer so i'm assuming that it doesn't have the orange oil in it. i use clean n' dull on my no mercy beat n', real deal and occasionally on my black widow solid.

I can offer some insight between Clean N Dull and Storm. Tink has a huge bottle of Storm cleaner and I used some on a BWS when I ran out of Clean N Dull. Bad move. The ball that had a predictable hook was all over the place after I used that Storm cleaner. It developed a huge over/under reaction. I had to do the hot water thing and use Clean N Dull after that. I did get the ball back to where it was,but boy did my average suffer for a few weeks until the ball came back in.
the only storm cleaner I've tried is the mega bite for particle balls. It works okay.
