2008 Hoinke Classic Bowling Tournament

Is anyone going this year. I would like to get my 2 teams together to go this year we have never gone yet, just wondering if anyone has shot this and how is the tournament if I don't go this year next year is a must.

I`ve bowled singles in Hoinke, you bowl 4 games and move lanes after each game it is a very nice house to bowl in. They have a lane set up with heavy pins and you can pay $3 and if you get 4 strikes in a row you win like $150 its a lot of fun,But very tricky to do though. I think the house has 62 or 64 lanes.

Thanks for the reply, that sounds pretty fun heavy pins they like 5ibs each or something. We were just joking about that last nite in league they screwed up the shot again I never seen oil in this house when they oil the lanes It doesn't matter what you throw you ball will not hook more than 3 boards if that no matter how you throw and then when your ball comes back there no oil tracks. I've never seen so many mis racks where the pin was shifted to a new spot we had someone make the 10 pin slide forward and the rack couldn't even catch it last nite it was out pasted the 1 pin still standing up. It was pissing us off but I just had to laugh to get through the nite then someone said these pins must be 10ibs each.

I bowled two years ago.I averaged 233 for my ten games-made alot of money in brackets and squad pots but the actual tourney I made a check for $24.00 in all events.I won't go back any time soon.

its been sometime since i have went but its a sandbaggers fest i seen 1 guy come in says his average is 135 had 8 balls with him and didnt shot a game under 200 and he threw the ball pretty well and after seeing that i never returned its a very handicap tourney the bowling center is big and nice and i havent been since they changed the format

The Owner Russ Didnt sell I bowled this pasted Sunday and that was the last Day for it and we bowled doubles at 10 and team at 1...It was a HDCP tourney so you always going to get some sandbaggers....They will have it again next year it is the larges HDCP Tourney in the USA from what they say..
Shot was good I shot 580 and 600 i didnt carry much...But had a great time team shot 3100 scratch with 206 hdcp so we should get a small check back...
