WTB -Looking for Pro Shop Equipment wanting to start a Pro Shop in a small town where I live our guy is retiring .... again.
I do know that I want the old Gil-Mac press with all the bits.
Every thing must be pretty cheap as I'm just starting out.

He is very hard to listen to he complains about anything and everything. I did some drilling on an old gil-mac years ago but they were just straight up drilling.

Are you serious!? I think I laughed for a good 10 minutes when I read that. My shop has a Gil-mac and its HORRIBLE. Its pitch system is inaccurate. Its metal gears that mesh together with no lube system so they wear down fast, and the ball is held in place by raising it up and applying a lot of pressure on the ball to metal surfaces. Plus, the bit is driven by a hydraulic system that is really flawed as well.
We just spent over $8000 on Ebonite's new ball drilling press, it is also a mill so that you can do oval holes. The Gil-mac can't do that.
Seriously, if you don't have a lot of money and want to get into the proshop business, try and find a newer system that is used. The Gil-mac is really bad and as soon as we get our new press running, its getting torn apart.

I agree...
Heres your press with both tables and its 1000 times better than a Gil-mac Then you need a vacu jig or clamp jig to bolt to that. And you can do all the ovals you want and its accurate !
