The biggest thing I can see that you might want to change is your pushaway, it is a step delayed, and it looks like your timing is off just a little bit and that could be it.

I'll try to get a video of me tonight at league, so I can stop making people wait.

I agree. My timing is something that I'm currently trying to change. I'm considering going back to a 5 step approach, too. Although I've always been more comfortable at a 4 step, it'll give me just a bit more time for the armswing.

I went from a 4 to a 5 to a 3 to correct my timing. If you really want to do a 4 step, you need to push the ball away ASAP, basically what I was taught when I first started, your bowling arm and right leg (for righties) are attached and have to move at the same time.

I personally couldnt get the first step down in a 5 step because I cant throw without pushing the ball away immediately.

Oh yeah,I forgot,you roll fine. I don't even have a problem with your timing. Just get your upper body more upright. You'll be amazed at what that will do for the backend of the ball.

Damn that advice is money! Whenever I'm not getting a good reaction I straiten the back up at release and it feels like I get five boards stronger!

Josh let us know how playoffs go.

I sure will. Rolling league tomorrow. And I appreciate all the input. When I watched myself that horrible "bend" is the first thing I noticed.

I know how I developed it though. Being a big guy is part of it (bending joints hurts when you got a spare tire like mine), but a few years ago I injured my left knee (slide/plant leg) and I've been very gingerly with it since. I think it's time I tried to build up the strength in it again so I can get a proper bend - IN THE KNEE!

Stretching and leg lifts...hahaha....I've been in rehab countless times for my knees, if you have any questions go ahead and ask lol...
