Hi,

Last night I noticed the following.
I was adjusting boards as the game got along. (till i could not adjust more)
at the end of the 3rd game instead of adjust boards, I just threw slower by lower the ball at my started position, and i started to hit the pocket again, and played like that also the whole 4th game.
My question is then , why would you move some boards instead of just lowering your speed.
or was I just plain lucky yesterday that it worked out.
(we play on a pretty dry lanes)

You actually adjusted corectly for the conditions given. You adjusted your feet on the approAch first and as the conditions called for a speed adjustment you did that also. Sometimes a foot move on the approach is all that is needed and other times ball speed adjustment is all that is needed. You have to go with what then lanes are giving you.
