Just wanted to show off my new ride. It's not brand new, but new to me. I've always wanted a 4Runner and since I dont have the need to pull toys anymore I traded in my Tundra.

Very nice ride Blue, now you just have to get more gear to fill it up. Lol thats the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that cause I know how bad my dads F150 is.

I will second that. I have been a Toyota and Honda Fan myself. My wife has a Pilot right now and had a lexus and 2 hondas before that. I've had 2 tundras and 3 hondas(1 acura) before this but have always wanted a 4runner. I did step down a bit from my 06 Tundra to an 04 4Runner but it is in really great shape and has less than 35k miles. Getting the windows blacked out tomorrow adnd now I just need to upgrade the tunes a bit.

I really wanted the sport model too. But it was tough to find a v6 version. Most of the sports around here were v8 & 4wd. The one sport that I did find was black and brown, but I dont like brown interior. Not that the v8 was a bad idea, its the same one as in my tundra, but It was just not nessassry if Im not going to offroad it.

yeah, I had a 2004 4Runner. That one was a white SR5, 2 wheel drive with a V8. I really liked it but I was having quite a bit of problems with it, plus I drive a lot and the mileage was pretty high so I traded it in for the 07. My 07 is a V6 and I didn't notice a drop in horsepower. Actually, the 04 V8 and the 07 V6 have almost the same amount of HP, but the V8 has a ton more torque, which would come in handy if I tow a boat. Stupid thing is that I don't own a boat! I do go fishing quite a bit (if not bowling) so the 4 Wheel Drive comes in handy. I did notice that the suspension of the Sport Edition is a lot better than the SR5 due to the X-REAS suspension. I can take turns much faster since the body doesn't roll nearly as much, but other than that, I don't see much of a difference between the Sport and the SR5. It is mainly cosmetic. :)
