finger grips

had new finger grip put in bwp friday and is helping my release alot. new grip have a more pronounced lip to grip my finger tips with.:D

Sounds like power grips. Did you use ovals before?

ye s they were just ovals before with a very slight grip these are alot better

Need to get some new grips in my No Mercy. Think it would make the feel alot better.

We discussed this a while back... talked about the feel of different colors of grips. At the time I really liked the White and Yellow that most of my stuff had in the,.

Well now I have two bowling balls with Red and the feel is great.

As long as the feel is everything you want, then no worries.

Have not tried the clear grips, but I did try the clear thumb slug from Vise Grips. It was a horrible piece of crap. The feel was not good for me. the material is alot harder.

I like the slugs because I can make part of it very smooth. The clear never smoothed out as well.

I dont use finger grips :) cant stand them. But i love a good slug :)

I like the feel of the clear Vise ICE grips and the Vise red grips. It's kind of strange how just from color to color they have a different feel.

Finger grips and thumb slugs are the greatest thing invented since sliced white bread!:) Think I'm kidding??? Take a ball,have it drilled,use only cork and tape to adjust the fit and feel. After a season of fooling around with that mess you'll understand how us "more expierienced" players feel about them. I won't roll a ball that doesn't have them in it.

It's all about feel... grips or no grips. Look at how many pros don't use grips.

Honestly I like the feel of the yellow grips, as well. I've thought about trying a w/o inserts and just using a slug. It pretty easy to get the inserts added if you don't like the feel.

I'm the same way, although at the demo days I was at last week I threw with grips and scored really well but it felt horrible, I love a slug though cause it makes the release a lot smoother.

True Tenpin, its a lot harder and more expensive to go from grips to no grips.
