I have a callous on the tip of my ring finger forming after about 5 months maybe the first 1/4 inch ! I average about 200 . My point being I am not tossing the ball bad but I wonder if I am doing somthing really bad I can't see in my release causing this or is it just somthing to just live with ! ?????
Yes I have grips in all my balls and IMHO they are all fitted properly .

The callous on the ring finger is fine but you should get the feeling evenly on both fingers. If you are only getting it one one, that finger either might be a little long or the other finger is too short. You should get a little hardening of the fingertips. If you bowl a lot of games, you should get a little tingling of the tips.Mine turn white as I get maximum finger tip power .I have thickening of the fingertip pads. This is common in crankers.

Its normal if your hitting or lifting the ball. If your span is a tic long and you have reverse pitch in your fingers, it could create more pressure as well. Its normal as long as it doesnt migrate to the side of the fingers or turn to a blister

my ring finger is still really calloused from a span that was too long, it killed my ring finger, strained a tendon, the finger nail is really messed up, but its gotten better since i had my ring finger span fixed.

Never been a blister and not on the side really .
And like I said IMO my span is fitted correct I guess its just part of bowling 30 to 50+ games a week :p

Normal. That's just from throwing a hook ball. But you should be seeing it on both fingers, not just one. Sounds like the other finger span is a touch too short.

I agree my middle finger is only doing it on the inside half not all across like the ring finger ! I am going to have my Pro Shop guy check it Monday !
