Just a minute and a half of some practice shots, im throwing BWP mostly. Threw an ultra zone and ebonite Crush/R a few times. Blackburn is throwing his BWSolid.

Enjoy :)

And critique Blackburn's balance... it was terrible that day!

i'm no coach, but if your friend bends his knee more, he should get better balance then what he has now

and sorry.. but i'm not a big fan of cupping the ball(i use to do it)... and now i have a tendon problem... i may have weak tendons but yeah... i dont know how long you have been doing it for

Blackburn just doesn't like to bend his knee. He does fine though, normally his balance is superb, I was just picking on him all day because he seemed to be off.

Cupping the ball is just what I've gotten comfortable with. I've thrown the ball like this for two years and havn't had problems yet. I have trouble with speed/revs when I try and keep my hand behind the ball.

i was going it for a long time as well.... i was comfortable with it... then one day... my tendon just tighten up on me and i couldnt move for fingers( i was 14-15).... not a good feeling... so i must of spend 6 months on release drills with my coach...

just pre warning you.. but your maybe fine... changing my release was the best thing i could ever do to my bowling and that was no joke..

That looks like a pretty forgiving house pattern you got there.

Thats actually a pretty tough house shot. Forgiving would be the other house I bowl at. We played with out speed a lot that day, thats why you see Blackburn in a lot of different areas. I pretty much stayed in the same spot, except that last ball, I wanted to try an outside line, so you can see where I changed the angle of my release, and let it come off my hand with more forward roll.
