Became popular back in the 1980s with the invention of urethane in the cover stock of there bowling balls. the hammer bowling ball became a force in the industry with there unique core hammer was one of the first bowling ball companies to use a 2 piece wieght block core instead of a 3 piece pancake wieght block core which was used before in most bowling balls. with this combination of a new core style and a new cover stock the hammer bowling ball dominated the bowling lanes in the 1980s, owned by a company called Faball with such popular bowling balls like the Black Hammer,Blue Hammer , Red Pearl Hammer Used In the short oil era. later they were bought out by Ebonite International. Hammer - now has a very good bowling ball line. And Is one of the leaders In the Industry again.

Storm Bowling Balls - Are known in the bowling industry as one of the premier bowling ball companies. Storm is also know as one of the one of the founders of reactive resin bowling balls going back to the yellow sun storm bowling ball. the yellow sun storm of the 90's started a revolution in the bowling industry as one of the founders of the coverstocks that we use in today's bowling balls. Now with the updated technology of the newer style cores the name Storm in the bowling industry is know by most avid bowlers as a force to be reckoned with. later they developed popular bowling balls like the red sun storm, fire storm, forest fire storm.

Either your day job is as a PR flack or you're ripping off the manufacturers website for something to write. Give it,and us,a rest. Please.

What's with the reply's to willards posts? He is only making statments and I don't see any links in his sig line anymore. And even if he is quoting some website he giving a positive review about Hammer and Ebonite products.
Give it a break. Grant you he did have some sigs but that was taken care of. Hell I quote websites also at times. Maybe I should GIVE IT AND ALL OF YOU A REST FROM ME ALSO.
Geesh!!!!!!!!!
And let's not turn this thread into something that I will close also.

It appears to you that I am power tripping? I think not. Willard made two positive posts about Ebonite products and two people make negative post towards him. What do we call that?

I'm sure he doesn't want to go there. I am being chastized for doing my job. And when that happens, I get stern. I am doing my job here and that's all. If Xgates or anyone else thinks that I do too much moderating here, lI was told ,let's see how fast this place goes to pot.
I have instructions on my moderation here and I intend to fully execute them. I let alot slide here and I don't feel I am unfair.

Copyright infringement???? Juuuust kidding. Breathe. Laugh. It WAS funny.
We were just climbing on Willard because the posts didn't seem to make any sense. We all KNOW how wonderful Ebonite's stuff is,it wouldn't be in our bags if it wasn't. But those post's were.....wrong on so many levels???
We're sorry,Willard.
Everybody okay now???

Okay, deep breath everybody. Nothing here is worth having hard feelings over. Let's all take five and see if we can fine tune our attitudes.
First off, glad you took care of the sigs,Bubba. Pain DID have a valid point there. But you took care of them,so that's that on that subject.
Second, yes you do quote websites, but there is a difference. You do it in the context of an answer to a question. These were just random posts that quite frankly were out of place.
Third,I did apologize to Willard on behalf of all of us who posted.
Fourth,we here are all human beings. As such we all have different emotions and attitudes. That has to,and will, come through in our post's. Sorry, that's just the way it is and no one can change that fact. All that can be done is to try and look at things from the other guys point of view. Willard HAD been called on this sig stuff before, had he not?
Fifth, that "Give all of us a rest from you" to paraphrase, doesn't fly. Don't theaten to do something unless you're prepared to actually do it. That attitude is why you were brought in in the first place,Bubba. Remember? Remember how bad it was,way back when?? Guys were threatening to hit the door and not let the knob hit them in the ass on the way out every day. Every post started the Gunfight at the OK Corral. Remember now? Is this as bad as it was then??? I don't think so. This ain't worth trashing all the good you've done here.
Now,for the last time,Group Hug.:)

I agree with you Rowdy and yes I did ban him and now he is complaing to Jeff and the admins. Yes Rowdy all of us have different atitudes, but when someone compalins that we don't allow Religion and Politics here is telling me that's what this guy wants to discuss. Here is what xGates PM'd me and I am not affraid to share this,,,,,,,,,
by xGates to BubbaRay, These boards dont need as much moderation as you do, i have never been on a board that babys its members as much as this one does. Not allowed to talk religion or politics not allowed to argue or express ourselves.
I do not think I have ever stopped anyone from expressing themselves here. Sure I edit posts because of language. I was brought here for a reason and the reason was described by you. I attend to fullfill that and do my every best here. I remember back when it was a mess here but I do not have to be told "These boards dont need as much moderation as you do". If he doesn't like it he can go elsewhere and yes I did ban him. Now should I look at this from a different point of view?
And agreed willard was informed about all his ads in his sig line and he graciously abiided by my requests.

"Argue or express ourselves"??? What the hell has he been reading all this time??? Religion and politics are subjects we just don't discuss here,as civilized people agree not to do when they're with company.
Nor have I seen any babying going on here. No,I don't think there is another point of view to consider from where you're sitting,Bubba.
On the positive side, thanks for sharing,Bubba.:)

Lets add a correction for the first Resin Bowling Ball.
XCAILBER was the ball, not by Storm.
(This is what I have always heard... as I did not bowl back then, but have heard it from several reliable sources.)
What we all got on Willard for was extra links in the post. It's alot better now. If he wants to place a link in the signature for his store so what. If you don't like, then lets kill all links in anyone signature.
The mentioned "Babying" was sent by Bubba to xGate. If I understand that correctly. (Not sure if there is babying going on here or not. Other than some sub forums.)
This place has improved for the most part. Which it needed.
The thing I see with most sucessful run forums is there is some involvement from the people who run it on a daily basis.
