Lessons and refer to my response on your post about proper ball drilling.

Also posting video of yourself will get you tons of advice from other here.

Lessons would be the number one thing I could tell you. I am a stroker, and a tweener, and couldn't be happier with it. At first it seems like you are cranking the heck out of it when in all reality you aren't. Once I got lessons we developed my style of play. Now, if I have to, I can crank the hell out of the ball, by no means am I the best at it, seeing as how it is not my style and I need practice more, but I can do it. All I ever see at my house are guys my age hooking the ball from gutter to gutter. They laugh at me for not having a big hook like them. All I do is laugh at them when I see their scores and see how inconsistent they really are. Get lessons, if you would rather crank the heck out of the ball, many aren't that expensive. I know it has helped me and my game.

well i was taught by my high school science teacher who also was the bowling coach, but he didnt bowl with a big hook. so i guess up to date lessons wouldnt hurt. i'll have to check that out. thanks. i posted 2 pictures of my ball in the equipment and layout section.

i went and practiced today. and tried out some things from a instructional video i saw on youtube.com. also got some powerhouse clean and dull, that seemed to help a bit. also focused on the power finger position where the pinky stays close to the ring finger. the combination of things help out and i got more rotation and a little more hook. i'm please to say the least. a little more practice and i'll be doing much better.

Redrill the ball. Unless you develop some monster revs, that thing ain't gonna get the job done. This is simple phsyics at work here and until you change the physics to work FOR you instead of AGAINST you,you are gonna have a tough time.

You take it to the pro shop and tell them you want to get it redrilled, they but a plugging substance in the holes that hardens and then they just redrill the new holes where you want them or where they think would be better one or the other, you can change anything you want. Its not that complicated, they also have quick plugs, its just a cylinder looking piece of plugging material that is already hard, they drop it into the holes and just drill that and its like brand new, the quick plugs are neat, my pro shop guy uses them a lot and there really fast.

I think your money would be much better spend on finding a good local coach and getting some lessons before re-drilling your ball, and then re-drill the ball to match your new found game, if you even need to

You obviously didn't look at the pics of his ball. That thing needs a redrill.
