Anyone bowl in Albuquerque yet?Can anyone give some details on the lane conditions.My Black Widow solid is finished abralon 4000 grit.I am wondering if I will need more surface,Maybe 1000 grit?

I have bowled there but didnt bowl good however It seemed to me like the lanes burned up pretty quick.

you can always change the cover when your there

If you start around 3rd arrow and keep the ball at 10 or inside of 10 at the breakpoint then you should be fine. I started with a polished Bite playing 18 to 12. The backends got alittle tighter, so I pulled out my duller Bite~2000 grit. I used those two balls for the entire tournament avging 218.

Agroves is right. I played tight and inside. Watched the sets before us in doubles and singles on the pair we played on and they gave us a good line to work with. Used my Widow Bite (seriously roughed) and my Widow Pearl and didn't do well. My first time at Nationals though and family stuff goin on so couldn't really focus. Did shoot a 300 in practice at Holiday Bowl with my Bite which was a bit of a confidence booster...
