League Championship this evening

Hey guys! Haven't posted in a while, but ive been lurking :cool:.

Anyways...

After my breakdown in my college bowling team tryouts, i took about a 4 month break from bowling. Well my good friend who i have been bowling with got me back into it. I joined a mens league tuesday nights. Only six teams in it, so not a big one at all. I was reluctant to join it because i knew i would be really rusty. Well i came into the league with a 197 avg. I started in November btw. There was oh, about ten to twelve weeks left in that half. Well when i joined my new team, we went on a tear. I wasn't doing great, but i was trying to just get back into it. We finished in 1st for the 1st half of the league. The second half, i as focused on getting my game back. And i did just that. Had 3 297 games, two 700+ series, and my average is at a 210 (highest its ever been).

Sorry this is such a long post, i just have alot to say haha stay with me!

I jumped out and won high average (210), high series (730), and tied for high game (279). For this league, the winners of the 1st half, play the winners of the 2nd half for the league championship. This is tonight.

This is not a big league at all, not a whole lot of money on the line, but yet i'm still thinking about it ALOT. I just went thru my bowling bag and had to put my fingers in and try out my equipment on the carpet (alright, that sounds bad, but i couldn't think of anything else)

Oh, btw, i got a used NM on bowlingballreviews.com and it has been my go to ball ever since!

We won! We were a guy down because he was sick with the flu. Gave me little hope. Started off the game good. Got crazy because one guy shot 60 pins over his average. I shot a 234. We won that game. We then moved a pair of lanes and it was close the whole game, with my team up by just a little. Then going into the 10th i had a turkey and the other anchor had a turkey. He needed a strike to have hope and i needed to just stay clean. I had a solid 10 pin left and picked it up for a 225. So we won!!

It was a fun time and i'm glad i joined this league and it got me back in the game!
