I've picked up bowling again for the first time in 13 years. I started in a league and to my surprise I average 180 with my beloved red hammer. The problem is that my hammer is starting to crack in the finger hole area so I need to replace it. I'm a lefty throwing an smooth, arcing hook. I want a ball that duplicates my red hammer's roll. What hammer ball best matches the original red hammer? Also does anyone know the tech specs of the red hammer? I want to compare it to other current bowling balls. Thanks.

there is no ball to replace a red hammer other than a red hammer, i think it was teh best ball ever made, my black widow is a close 2nd but the red hammer has just suited my game or so long ive had my red hammer for over 16yrs now and when the lanes are ry i use it, last year i won my first tourny since i was a jnr ( jnr won with the red hammer) the lanes had been dry for 2 weeks prior and on the tounry day yet again they was dry was 2nd after qualifiaction and won the 2games in the step ladder to win i was the only person bowling with a no reactive ball and the ball was the diffrence it held its line all day long (1069 5game set)

my point is!!! seacrh e-bay u can often find a new red hammer on there at good prices, or god condition used ones

I was thinking of getting either a pure hammer or a vibe (not sure which one); whichever matches the red hammer better. that's why I'm trying to find out specs.
