quick video

The GF and I rolled a few games on Saturday morning and I brought the camera along. I'm throwing my solid levrg and the last shot is with my Awesome Finish. It's a rough video, I just cut the dead space (and the gf.)

I'm still getting to know the Solid but I think I'm going to throw it on the spinner. I wasn't totally happy with the ball reaction on this pattern.

I like the angle, you can see the 5 pin.
Usually when I can see the 5 pin, I can hit my target. Too bad you can not always see the 5 ping from the approach.
I think I am using more or less the same board.

I compared it with the video of hammer , the psycho.
I like this angle more than the one of hammer.
Also I can see the boards and arrows in this one, and on the one of hammer I could not see them. This view is giving me a better idea of the ball motion.

What do you think.

Thanks. I've used this angle before but this time used the arrows as my focal point. This showed more detail down lane.

Yeah Slap's Video Quality is good, but I pretty happy with Hammer's as well. We have to start somewhere. Slap is using Canon HD Camcorder, believe its a HV20, pretty nice device there. Don't know what Jeff uses for his video's.

And Jeff is try is butt off and I think he doing a pretty good job. He took our criticism and responsed that he's see what can be done. Lets try and keep it that over on the thread. (Not trying to get down on ya...) Let's give Jeff a chance.

I thought Jeff and Hammer did a great job with the first couple of videos. It's a lot of work, particulary the post production.

Plus, you gotta remember, Hammer is trying to sell a product, lane level view is always very spectacular.


Very nice video though, good view of the breakpoint and arrows, shows overall reaction much nicer than a lane level.

Slap that new camera looks like it takes great videos! I didn't like the line you were playing with that ball but it does look like it has some potential...

Slap's capsule review: This ball is a beast!

As I said when I posted the video, I wasn't really happy with the ball reaction on that pattern. The box finish is 4000 abralon and I thought it was a little skiddish on that fresh pattern. Time to surface tweak...

I had just received an order of Valentio's bowling products so I tried some of their resurrection on the solid. That products leaves the ball at an 800 sheen. I didn't care for this reaction either, in fact it sucked. Next I tried a gold pad (~2000 abralon) and BINGO the beast has been released. At this surface the ball is reading the pattern alot better for me.
