I am looking to get a ball for dry lanes and i saw the two vibe balls and am thinking about the blue one. Before i buy it what is the difference between the blue and purple and which one would be better for dry conditions.

The purple is best suited for dry, but the Blue Vibe is acceptable for a wider range of conditions, I have the purple, my son the Blue. You really can't go wrong, I would say if you are building a 5 plus ball arsenal, get the purple, otherwise the blue will have your medium-light-dry covered..

I went through the same decision process you're going through right now. I searched the forums, review sites, and even asked Mr. Graham for some insight. Basically I came up with (to sum it all up in one sentence) 'The Blue Vibe has a stronger earlier reaction with an arc shape and is smoother and more controllable while the Purple Vibe goes longer and and has more of a skid/snap reaction.'
Since I wanted a dry lane / late shift ball I chose the Purple Vibe and had it drilled for length. It gets through the burnt heads and has great hitting power. I couldn't be happier. The Blue is supposed to be more consistent, but I can't imagine a more consistent ball than the Purple Vibe on a dry lane.

I own both Vibe Balls, and even with a weaker drilling the Blue one is still stronger. The purple goes much further down the lane before making a turn.
