and well last game of the league... 8th frame... i hit the pocket... and decided to leave a 5-7-10..

that is all i am saying

I noticed a complete difference in you foot work. You got rid of that hesitation step on your third step. The only thing now is maybe move back on the approach alittle or go to a five step approach because you are consitantly going over the foul line now.

the "old guys" may call the 5-7-10 a "Lily", but it also had another name. it used to be called the "sour apple" and the ABC used to give you a patch for just leaving it, you didn't even have to convert the spare!:cool: i bowled in a league in an old center with wooden lanes and over the lane ball returns and someone managed to leave it every week...never did see anyone convert it though.:eek:

also, i have to agree with BubbaRay about moving back or taking fewer steps as every shot you were definately sliding over the foul line. keep up the good work, definately a big improvement from 06 to 08.

A Guy I bowl with on Thur AM leaves it alot, and he picked it up twice this last season ! They can call it what they want, but I call it throwing a real weak ball ! He throws 12 lb and thats how he picks it up too ! Ball deflects too much.The ball is actually finishing real hard but it hits light and deflects off the head pin and misses the 5 !

That wall is ridiculous. We have a pole that is just in front of the ball return on one of the pairs in a house I bowl in. I can't bowl on the right lane on that pair. My left arm hits it when I extend it for balance. Don't think I could bowl with that wall there either.

U know i had a feeling. And its sport shot so i have a feeling i'll top the ball too much and it just deflect like crazy. I know if i leave it im taking a pic of it lol.

This guy who had been getting lucky strikes all day in our PBAex league got that last week it was so funny, I actually fell over laughing because the kid was acting like a total a-hole and getting lucky strikes and his last game he didnt break 100 because he kept getting splits.
