I have a Playmaker that is coming on Tuesday and I dont know how I want to drill it. I want it to be a little weaker than my BWP at 2000 abralon which is drilled with the strong layout #3. I love how the one on Buddies reacts and is the type of reaction I am looking for. I bowl on a medium - heavy house shot but Im going to use this ball for when my bite and pearl are a little too strong. Im thinking about getting it drilled stronger than the BWP but because the BWP is at 2000 polished and the Playmaker would be at 4000 polished wouldnt it turn out to be weaker? Kinda confused with exactly what I want done so I figured I would ask you guys.:) I also have this TNV plugged up in the house waiting to be drilled, thats where my dilemma is, Im not sure if I want the Playmaker to fill the gap between my Bite and my pearl and stick the TNV weaker than the pearl, or if I want the TNV to fill the gap and stick the Playmaker under the pearl. If your wondering by the sig, I dont use the BWS anymore, only for heavy tourneys.

I'm too lazy to look at all the drilling pages, but what is the pin to pap and mass bias to pap on your BWP?

Idle, wanta suggestion from me here it is . I would put the TNV in between the BWP and the BWB with an agressive drill on it and use it for those heavier oil nights.
Now for the Playmaker, It's listed for medium oil, but you can use this ball in heavy, medium, and light oil conditions. I would drill it with an agreesive drill . In heavy, it's arc will smooth but it still has a slight snap on the backend. In medium and light, it will arc just a bit more and have a little more aggression on the backend. It will be easy to adjust through the night if needed just by moving your feet a few boards left or right and switching from a straighter shot to a wider, hooking shot. You have to make sure you hit the shot at the bottomo with this ball or it's going straighter . If you want more agreesion you coould drill it agreesive as above and throw a 1000 abralon on it.
You saw PJ throw it Monday night on the Scorpion . What was your thoughts on it Monday night?

That sounds good Bubba, because I was thinking the same thing about the PM with it being 4000 polished its going to be pretty weak to begin with so it would be easier to fit there and the TNV above the pearl would work a lot easier too cause its stronger to begin with. He only threw it one shot that I saw, but its a lot smoother than I thought it would be and doesnt have the snap I thought it would, seems like a ball thats going to allow me to play straighter which is exactly what I wanted it for.
As for the Pin to PAP and MB to PAP, these are just rough measurements, its about 4 1/2 Pin to PAP and MB is in the strong position.

Well, if you want a weaker ball, I'd say get the pin to PAP distance around 6 inches(tried this with my CV and didnt work though, but surface changes can make the ball much smoother if you have problems with too much snap), maybe more with your rev rate, depending on how much weaker you want to go.

Even with the pin to pap distance the same as the BWP. The Playmaker is much weaker. Id lay it out 4" PtoP (up) and leave the cover oob....for now

Thats what Im thinking about doing Blue and thanks for the input, thinking about drilling it agressive, just a little stronger than the pearl drilling wise, but with the cover its going to still be weaker but give the strong motion that I like when the conditions call for it. The TNV is a ball Im going to mess with seeing its just sitting here and I need something to fill the gap between my pearl and bite seeing that I dont use my solid for that anymore.
