Well after 3 years tonight was almost the 300 game.Got a 299 my first so I'm very happy.left a 10 pin in in 12 frame.

Congrats.

I remember my 299.

Wasn't nervous throughout the entire game. I had already had 11 in a row(290) and after I threw 11, I just went back and grabbed my ball. Perfect off my hand, hit my mark, smashed pocket, 9 pin never moved. I was happy with it. Wasn't as happy with my 297 though....

Congrats shadow on the 299. It is sure a heart breaker to see the 10 stand after 12 perfect shots. I know the feeling is of happiness and madness at the same time. Something you could have done was go to the manager of ther place or propietor and ask him if you could have that 10 pin that cost you the 300 and write 299 on it with the date . Congrats again. The 300 is right around the corner

That's exactly what the manager of the house where I rolled my 299 did. The only place that 5 pin stands now is on my bookcase. :p

In my case the manager shut the machine down before the pin was swept. So the pin was retieved easily. That was a very small house, too.
