What are you looking to accomplish this fall when league starts back up?

For my team: Defend our league championship.

For me personally:

1.) Establish and maintain a 200+ average all season
2.) Make at least 90% of my 10-pin leaves
3.) Roll a 300 at least once

For our team: have fun.

For me: average better than last season's 186.

I have set my goals high this year . I think setting them high will help my concentration and execution.

I setting my sites on joining some new leagues this fall.

Averaging 220+ in all my leagues.

Entering Senior Regionals from July through Dec. Planning on cashing in all of them or making the finals in a few or trying to win one.

Helping as many people inprove their game as possible.

Having fun and enjoying what I am doing with my career.

And last but not least, Get Engaged.

League goals:

Average atleast 220 in my new league.

Win the league championship first year in the league like I have with every other one I've joined.

Get back to where I was and have another 300/ and another 800

Have fun and enjoy the sport.

Other goals:

Win atleast on tournament, whether it be local or other.

Spend as much time with my gf as possible and get closer with her and her family (most important)

As for Bubba's last goal Rowdy, he has nothing to worry about there from what I've seen Bubba has a great one there and she supports him and his bowling a lot just like mine does, I wish you the best on that last goal Bubba.

No real goals for this fall. Two or three leagues a week and the occasional tournament for fun. Gear overhaul,(Changing surfaces, moving thumbholes, one complete redrill), is nearly complete, will have all the stuff done next week, then spend the rest of the summer dialing it in. One new ball,(LevRG),next week, the Venom as soon as I can get my hands on one next month. Then a week or so apiece to break those in.

The fall will be what it is. I'll just do what I always do,roll my butt off and let the cow chips plop where they may.

2) roll a 300
3) throw 700 twice
4) roll without pain (this is going to be the hardest...)
5) win 2 tournaments.

Thanks Idle. Idle you have one also there and don't ever let her get awaty

Rowdy, I have been blessed this time . She supports me and never ever holds me back on my bowling. She encourages me and never once did she ever distract me on my game. Matter of fact she goes to all the tournaments and leagues. Stands behind me just like Tink does with you.

1) Average 180+ (Bowling in a PBA Experience League)
2) Consistently hit my mark
3) Make 95% of 10 pins

Pretty sure I can get #2 easily 1 and 3 are going to be tough (average around 165 in my PBAX league now, around 80% on 10 pins)

What are you looking to accomplish this fall when league starts back up?

Find new teammates for myself and my husband for friday night doubles (brand new house, new area). Find a team for me for wednesday night ladies.
Get a new ball and raise my average to at least a 150 (135-145 average now).
On top of all that, HAVE FUN!

Hold my own in PBAX league
Shoot a 300 practice or league either would be great
Start using my spare ball for all spares not just right side spares
continue to improve my spare shooting

Last year when I came back from my 20 year hiatus, I set the following goals:
Average over 200 first year.
Throw a 700 within the year
Throw a 300 within 2 years
Throw an 800 within 2 years

So far...I'm on track. Finished the Fall season with a 202 average and am averaging 215 in my summer league. Threw (2) 700 in the Fall and about 3-4 more this summer. So I'm feeling confident on the remaining 2 goals..be nice to knock them out in one night. :)

Team-wise...we have some unfinished business from last year to take care of. Lastly...you have to have fun. That seems to be when I bowl my best.

UPDATE: 4 hours after I posted this...I threw my 300!!! No kidding! But I will still keep my goal of 300...but I want the next one to be sanctioned!

Team Goals:

Maintain the A bowler position all year
Help my best friend and C bowler to elevate his game
Have a ton of fun
Make the A side play offs
Win or finish top 3

Personal goals:

Have fun and enjoy the stress relief bowling is for me
Roll the best I can every week
Dial in my new grip and free swing
Become a solid spare shooter
Improve average
Be the guy everyone loves to bowl with, but hates to bowl against

1-Be more consistant with my spares: sometimes I either don't line up correctly or not concentrate enough to be as consistant as I want to be.

2-A stonger mental game: Need to not allow things that I can't control like people not showing up etc. effect my game. Also, need to not get myself mentally screwed up when I have a few bad frames in a row.

3-It's not how you start the game, but finish it: This season for the first time, when I have a bad few frames during a game, I at least want to finish strong. I find that the 7th frame on has been it for me.

I shot a 186 in league last year, have averaged 214 in practice this summer, and am carrying a 164 in my PBAx league right now (4 weeks - Cheetah to go ;)). Here's my list:

Bowl within myself
Not be too hard on myself after a botched shot
195+ average
>90% single pin conversion rate
Help get my son fully potty trained so that he can go bowling with his hero ( wonder who that is  )
Have more fun bowling

1) Have fun
2) Roll pain free
3) Average 195-200 and not totally collapse
4) Win a tournament
5) Qualify for HS team tourney at the end of the year
6) Learn to take more time lining up for a shot
7) Improve my mental game
8) Improve my spare game (I'm good, but getting much better, still have timing issues, I tend to want to chuck the ball at the 10 as hard as I can)

Team goals: Finish top ten out of 36 teams. Last year we finished 16th. This is our 3rd year bowling.

Personal: Ive bet my wife, teammates, and friends that I will be a 200 bowler by week 8 of this coming year........its going to be close.
