My friend threw his ball, and I threw my pearl right after him, and I left like a 7 pin.
I picked up my No Mercy and picked it up, and when we went to throw the next frame, we saw that his ball was stuck way in the ball return. My pearl was behind it, and then was my No Mercy. They turned off the lane and ball return and pulled them out and bam, that huge burn mark.
I have to go back up there in like an hour and a half and let the pro shop guy that sucks and I hate take a look at it.
Man this sucks

That sucks. I hope you left the ball there behind the counter untill you go back. If you do not trust the pro shop guy there, ask the propietor or or the manager if you could take it to your pro shop and have it done at the lanes expense.

Well I took it up there, and told him what happened.
He said it can be fixed, but we'll see. But i have to wait for saturday..
So now I get to bowl in 3 of my leagues without it. Including pba

Woah that does stink. That happened to my doom many months back in my fall league, about the same size as the mark you got there and it was fixed and in shape even better then before the incident by the proshop for free. One of the kids spare balls got demolished though, a big white equator around the whole ball like 1/2 inch deep. Lots of the white powdery stuff from the interior of his ball was everywhere when we got the balls back after about 30 minutes, haha.

Make sure the plug isn't on any part of the ball track. The plug material is not the same material as the ball surface and it will not react the same. If any of that burn mark is on the track area, tell them you want a new ball NOW !

Yeah that was the first thing I did... Its not in my track area. Its on the opposite side of the thumb holes

That's one where I would scream bloody murder for a new ball, not a plug or fill. Looks like it's in the area of the grip,so that thing would always be on my mind whenever I threw the ball.
Wonder what that repair is going to do to the topweight of the ball???

I say tell them you want a ball (undrilled) and then take it to wherever your pro is...because that's just ridiculous...my ball looks terrible from it cracking pins (no joke) and it needs repairs...I guess that'd be a thing to get done while I'm down for surgery
