View Full Version : How? Resurface (sand) a ball w/o a Spinner

Okay... here's the deal. Usually when I need to get a ball sanded/etc I just take it to the pro-shop and get them to run in on the spinner. What I'm wondering is if there's a way I can emulate the same process myself w/o a spinner. It would be more convenient for me to do that myself. If it's just not a smart idea then it's not a smart idea (I don't want to mess up my equipment ;) ) but if it's worth a shot I'd like to try.

Thanks!!!

Don't even attempt it. Sanding the back flares or just a light sanding to lightly rough up the surfaceis ok, but you will never get a good resurface doing it by hand.

You can find a good economical spinner you can use at home at www.vertexmold.com

Well... then I guess it's time to take things to the next step...

Thanks for the input.
