Well, here we sit in the JAX international Airport, waiting on our plane to DFW then ABQ. We have 7 of our teammate driving in and the last 3 waiting for that big "Jet Airliner" (had to get that Steve Miller Reference in).

With 4 days of Bowl Expo behind me I am about wore out. More on my adventure as it unfolds.

Pretty much an uneventful day other than the plane leaving 30 min late out of DFW.

Got to ABQ and actually was able to check in to the hotel at 11:00 am.

Went to the convention center and ran into Leon Lamm, a fellow proshop operator from Chrlotte, NC who was bowling the Roto Challenge. Leon had a pretty good look if he kept the ball in play

Made our way to over to Holiday Bowl and to Leisure Lanes to check out the venues for the side events.

Gonna catch a few winks and head to the casinos tonight

Well we hit the Sandia Casino Last night. I got down $400 real quick but got most of it back before I Left (3:30 AM)

Went and bowled the BTM Should have stayed in Bed. After that I went over to Holiday Lanes and had my lesson with Mike Jasnau. He fixed a couple problems and I feel better about my game. 9 of our 10 players took the team lesson with mike. It gave our guys an idea where to play and what to use.

A couple of our guys also bowled the 40 frame game and the BJ.

We went back to the convention center to watch the 8:30 team event and watched the first game.

Probably heading back to the casino for a couple hours and back to the BTM in Sunday Afternoon to take advantage of a coupon they give Sport Bowling members for a free re entry .

We bowl on Lanes 25/26 Sunday 6/29 night at 8:30

I'm curious to see what you have to say about the whole experience.

I scuffed my messenger with a green scotch brite for team and found a shot. Had it polished for double and singles which was a mistake, should of left it alone, the lanes weren't much different. My Messenger was really enough ball though. I averaged 182 and my book average was 188 last year in a wood house.

I enjoyed Albuquerque. I enjoyed Sandia Casino too (the 2nd visit lol)

I bowled terrible in team 179 - 160 - 195 Luckily my team held me up and I rode them like a Government Mule to a 2902 in team, which is well inside the cash line.

I started with a BW drilled Axis Leverage (CG on PAP, pin 3 " from PAP MB at 0 Degrees. ( The same ball in my last video) However it was scuffed to 1000) About the 8th frame I went to A NM drilled with the #1 drilling, also Scuffed to 1000 I waffled back and forth between those 2 balls until frame 3 of game 3. then I went to a Polished Toxic drilled Rev Leverage, Both pin and CG 3 3/8" from PAP with the midline of the grip equidistant between the PAP with a Weight hole on a line from the Center of Grip through the CG just below the val

I just couldn't get the corners out and my spare shooting was terrible.

Do you have picture of the Toxic?

My second game in team I had two turkeys and NO spares. 182.
Aggravating. Missed 3 single pin spares in that game alone.

Thanks for the update, enjoy hearing about other's experiences up there. I didn't have any ball options but made it work best I could, that's why I'm kind of happy with the results.

Not much to crow about here 603 in Doubles and a whopping 519 in Singles.

My doubles partner and I managed to combine for an 1165 which should cash.

The highlight of my trip to ABQ was being able to watch my son flush 12 shots in a row and Get the 30th 300 of the tournament. He combined with his partner to move into 7th in Doubles

I think I was more nervous than my son. I was so excited I could hardly bowl my singles.

If you want to know how he got his nickname go here

He was using a Morich Total Annihalation.

Buy dinner, LOL

The bad thing is he second guessed himself he was going to push the All in Button on Brackets. He had a upset stomach all day long and was making frequent trips to the toilet so he decided against it in case he had to WD so he only got in 3
