i can't get on the homepage for some reason to look up drilling info but for those of you own/throw a cherry vibe....what's a good drilling for pretty dry lanes?? i mean they feel like 30 feet or less most of the time...i've never consistently bowled on conditions that bad before and my BWP hooks as soon as it touches the mid...
oh i'm a stranker if you will med rev med/high speed...you can see a few vids of my BWP on youtube...(just search BWP)

Either do a 6+ inch to PAP or a pin in track if you're gonna use it on dry
hell, i'd just say Pin in track, weak as it comes...because otherwise it will be took much ball, the one i gave to my brother is a 6 inch to PAP on me and I could throw it on a fresh THS (had to play fairly straight, but it was still too much for anything too dry)

dont drill it with an aggressive hook if u have high revs. ball hooks too much for me at least on a HS

For a 30 foot pattern, you aren't going to find a magically drilling. You have to roll the ball end over end. Kegel has this "plastic practice pattern" that is 26 feet long. I was able to use my stacked leverage DOOM but if there was ANY side roll it was GONE left.
End over end brother thats whatcha gotta do!
I don't have the cherry but I do have an emerald. The pin is in my middle finger which puts it a little over 5 inches from my pap. The drill angle is 45 and it doesn't have a x hole. I have a blue with the same layout.
Both balls are very versatile. I've used my emerald on patterns with flying backends with good success. In fact a threw a great set on the viper this week. This ball turns very hard off the dry which many people complain about but I disagree. The strong backend combined with the length works well for my game.
If the pattern is really that short you might need a razyr.

I'll agree with slap on this, go with a Razyr, it will get through the short oil cleaner, the Cherry Vibe being pearl will start to set up right after the oil and can get pretty mess, especially with a weak drill on it (super skid in oil, super left turn off of it).

I would suggest the Razyr like slap and blisters suggested. The Razyr is a great dry lane ball. It has some movement on the backend , but just enough to get it to the pocket. I have high revs and the CV and EV are just way too much ball for dry conditions. This new Razyr is the best thing I have seen in a dry lane ball. I LOVE mine.
