Anyone here have a problem with bowling too fast during practice?

Well I sure do haha, thats for sure. I bowled 7 games in less then an hour and I'll tell ya, I am not happy with it! My first game was 214 which is pretty good, but then I started to go down hill and by the 7th game I was bowling in the 150's!! I was pretty mad and kept thinking about how I bowled a 264 the other day. I was just out of it today and next time I practice alone I gotta put a pacer up! I just didn't wanna move all! Who else has problems of bowling too fast?

Right here,Matt. I keep having to slow everyone else down. The summer leagues with the smaller teams seems to create a "pedal to the metal" mentality. If I want to work up a sweat I'll go play golf.

If you want to slow down practicing,here's a trick I use:Roll your frame then watch someone close to you roll two frames. Then go again,wait two frames. Works like a charm.

I do, bowled 5 games today in under an hour, averaged 220 for the 5 so was happy. Hehe got the TNV back:D

lol yea 37 strikes.:D Goes by quick. Might have been a little over an hour but not much if any. Got there at 7:15 and was out by like 8:20.

220 average over games that quickly done is something to be proud of Idle. :D Ya Rowdy the only problem with doing that little technique is that the alley is practically dead on some days I go for some reason but there is a thing called a pacer I can put on my game in the option menu that wont let me roll a ball until the time set is up. Clever technique though. =) The right lane was also oily as hell, which was a pain when I couldnt get either of my balls to hook more then a couple boards on it easily so I was also having a some anger managemant problems. ANyways Rowdy I'm looking forward to that next vid of you'res ;) Lets see ya crank it!

I always bowl too fast in practice, so I almost always go with my nephew and we pace each other. But I'm actually at the point that I can bowl just as good at a faster pace, and probably better. When I was really working on my swing, I needed to slow down and concentrate, but now I like a little quicker pace which lets my preparation take over.

Speaking of being old, I was bowling with my son in our Youth/Adult league last night and there was an older gentleman bowling while using a cane during his approach. I looked over at my son and pointed him out, and told him that would be me one day. :D

Lately, the times that I have gone to practice, I have had my coach there with me to work on things. It kept me slow and concentrated on what I need to get done. I have been bowling excellent ever since.
