We have this Wednesday off because the bowling alley is closed Wednesday and Thursday. Now I dont know what I'm gonna do, should I just stay at home and ponder, or should I go to another bowling alley and bowl just for the hell of it? If its open.

go bowl, its a chance to bowl somewhere else and get better. Most bowling alleys are open, atleast in CA

LOL.....I also will be "out of sorts" by not bowling Thursday night,,,,,, but, at least I can watch the Lions & Chiefs between working on my house!

I went bowling tonight to the best center in my city, I just dont bowl there because alot of stuck up pricks and assholes go there just to drink and have fun. I used to go there alot when I was younger because it was kinda the hangout, but now alot of fights and shit happen because of drunks and guys who think they're billy badass. They have 32 lanes, huge bar, big selection of food, and a nice proshop. I used to bowl here when it first opened back when I was in high school, I used to use their house balls and just have fun. Actually had my high game of 257 there for a long time with a house ball. For me and my friend to bowl 3 games each and 1 pair of shoes, it was over $25, now granted I could go to the center where I bowl league and bowl 6 games for $12 and they always give me 2 lanes to bowl on. For not bowling in this center for over 2 years I bowled a 170, 133, and 205, not too bad, but still I rather be at the other alley.

I havent even bowled 1 full year in league, and I've been pretty serious since the Winter league started. Right now my avg is 194, but I know I can do better. The only thing that holds me down is, I'll shoot for example a 230, 245, then a 160, or a 160 then a 230, then 245. I almost always have 2 200+ games then a sh*tty 150-170 game. There has been a few times this season when I shot over 200 all 3 games, hell when I shot my 701 series, I bowled a 256, 258, then a 187, wish that 187 was in the 250's, would of been even nicer. I'm sure everything will get better, it really cant get worse unless you stop trying.
