Bit of an odd night....

Well to start off with went bowling at league tonight... feeling pretty confident etc... could not bowling over a 180 game!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: :mad: I was using my cell to start off with and for some unknown reason was hitting like a pillow!! so changed ball... I was that ****ed off with myself when i was done, basically saying what the F*** are you doing kinda thing... decided half way through my 3rd game that i was going to have two practise games afterwards, just to have a look at what was going wrong etc and prove to myself that i bowl better then i did in league tonight..

Have a look at this........... i bowled........... 289!! 244!! go figure huh?

I was chatting to my dad about it....I either put it down to..
a) I wasnt concentrating properly in league
b) I slowed down my shot in practise
c) In those practise games i took my wrist guard off and started using my cell again...

I was happy that i proved to myself what i actually could do..

Anyone else done something like this before?????

I have the same problem sometimes and my problem is almost always too many revs and not enough speed and the ball just burns up all of its energy before it hits the pins.

Yup,it happens. Best I can figure is that after you throw the first game and say,"The hell with it",you relax and start rolling the ball like you're supposed to. Guess the lesson is to not go into the night so amped up,relax and just roll the ball.

Its normal...we're all human. I shot 435 in league, right afterwards, shot 247, 235 and 220, that is a BIG change...all I did was stop thinking and I was fine lol

Try 150,(gave up),299,(madder than hell),300!!! Didn't even get a 750 series out of it.:eek:

As blister said as well think i may have just stopped thinking and just bowled LOL but i guess you get that..little thing like that are what we learn from i guess... was stoked with my comeback though.. :D :D

hahahah...I'm not old enough to have a legal drinking problem :rolleyes:

I fixed a problem in my form today and I shot an 8 game block and low game was 190, I even shot 209 throwing straight up the twig. I'm so proud of myself, I almost had a clean 48 and I messed it up with a 7-6-10 in my 190 game.
I like the Toxic on a THS, although I'm thinking of dropping the finish to 2000 polished to help it a bit with squirting through the breakpoint at times.

Threw the old urethane some too, I'm liking that ball more and more, very smooth and predictable as long as it hits some dry early enough to get its arc going, it is going to smash pocket (although it leaves some NASTY 8 pins at times, I left a few today that spun in place)

I actually had an old timer come up and complement me...I feel much more confident in my game now, I know exactly what I need to do for tune ups now in practice before league to get me on my A game for practice. I finally feel I can stop doubting myself in league and just throw the friggin ball.

Or cubes. Whatever. Add one part Gatorade,(Orange,what else?),one part Orange Juice,(From Florida,where else?),and fill the rest of the way with vodka. Drink untill Florida State's cheerleaders are cute,which is to say....NEVER!!! Enjoy.:)

There's nothing on the bottles about doing those drugs and bowling. Or typing. Something about driving,but I was too busy trying to not hit a bump and spill my drink that I couldn't read it all.:rolleyes: Good thing the drink was only Diet Pepsi. And don't start up on the DP again,either.
