Shot a very hard 614. I felt like I could have easily shot a 700. Never thought I'd be dissapointed shooting in the 610's. Did pick up a couple hard splits though. Picked up the 3-4-6-7-9-10 and the 3-4-6-7.

No wonder you shot 614 if you were leaving splits like that. Hey,nights like that happen. Learn from it and move on.

No. Was throwing the Venom and that thing takes off hard. That was probably why. I'm also trying different things to lower my backswing before the Winter leagues start. It's a work in progress.

Whoa. That thing must be strong to leave splits like that.

Yea was thinking the same thing as Rowdy and also how does a righty leave the 3-4-6-7? I know I can go light and leave it but dunno how you did that.

Backends fly at the house I bowl at. And I do crank it a bit. Couple shots that got away from me and went thru the nose.

Did you ever see a righty leave a 3-4-10? You should have been with me tonight at S.S. I practiced and I was using the Venom. Ball came screaming back from 5 . Then seem like it went straight back after picking the head pin off .

Thats really different to leave the baby split with the 4, baby split through the nose I understand but with the 4 too is very odd.

How did you take out the 9 without touching the 3 or 6?

For a bad night, thats pretty good. Keep the chin up. Keep making your spares, bring back the count and converting splits when you can.
Making changes to the swing can be very difficult. Especially at higher levels, because you are usually doing some good things. Just keep your mind open, if you start having to much trouble... see a coach.
Being able to alter your swing is a goodthing... My swing changes are to bring back consistency and accuracy.

Some of the pins were slightly offset possibly.

Thought it sounds like some serious deflection and weird angle from playing a deep inside line, maybe a pulled shot. (My guess.)

I've left it before with my Cell...
Its just how the pins fall
