One house has 36, the other one has 22. The one I do like to practice at has 36, I don't bowl in a league at that house. There house pattern is tough in the middle. You can shoot down and in 10 at this house and shoot anywhere from 220-240 with your eyes closed. The middle has a little more oil making it tougher to swing the ball out, so when I need to work on a few things, that is where I like to go.

Yes, I'd practice more at Lakewood but Century is much cheaper. At least during the day when I'm able to bowl.

24... League and Practice. (Same House)
Practice is usually cheap or my favorite price!

Close to me are 32, 48 and a 20 or 24?

Not really. 12 to 18 lanes used to be the norm until the '60's. I've rolled in second story alleys that had 6,8 and 10 lanes. With the ball return above the lanes.
