Mine is at the proshop getting drilled, should have it in a couple days. I couldn't find too many reviews before I ordered it but everything I did read was of praise.

TJ, I know Xact1 has one drilled up. Shoot him a PM about it. I am sure he will offer his advice on the Razyr also.

TJS 7,
Yes, I have a Razyr. I drilled it up just as the drill sheet suggested (because the core is a pancake, the drill sheet has only 1 recommended drilling).
Most of these balls will come with the Pin and the CG right next to each other. With this ball, Pin placement should be 3/4 inch right and 3/4 inch up from grip center (assuming a right-handed bowler).
I am a lefty :D so I reversed the layout.
I have now had a chance to roll this ball for a few weeks. Here's my honest opinion: The ball is an absolute blast to throw. It hooks more than you would think for a ball with basically no core. It does not exhibit any jump off of the end of a pattern UNLESS the backends are very dry AND you really hit up hard on it. If you roll this ball smooth off of your hand at release, it just kills a THS. I wish that I had this ball in my bag for the last 2 regionals, because everything else hooked too early.
Most bowlers want the largest hook that they can get in a ball, instead of going with a ball that gives them control and a smooth reaction off the end of the pattern. That's the big advantage of the Razyr!

You will have it this weekend in Pottsville for sure. I shot mine on the Viper in my summer PBA X league and had good results. We will see what it does on the new longer pattern this weekend. See you on Fri. for the practice session.

Bubba you said that you should have it in Pottsville. Is that Pottsville PA at Strikers?
If so, I bowl there and was wondering what was going on this weekend. They wouldn't tell us in our league

bowled with my razor for the first time last nite in a satellite tourney for the english open.. first 3 games i had a nightmare!!! i wont put the score but they were BAD!!!! the lanes were very long oil in the middle with little to no oil on the out side, i started off with my momentum swing way to strong so was the venom and bws, took me first 3games to work the pattern out, then the oil carried down still huge backends, so game 4 i moved and played down between 1st and second arrow with the3 razor shot 200 but the ball was over hooking, so games 5/6 i moved left end dot with feet and played 3rd arrow out to about the 10board and shot 213 232 for 645 over the last 3, the ball hits fairly hard but notthing like the other hammers but its a great dry lane ball, and u cant expect it to hit overly hard as its basicly a spare ball with a reactive cover.. still got a few messangers flying tho
bowl in a dry house!! u must have a razor!!!!
unless u throw with a huge amount of pace!!!!

There is a PBA Senior Regional at Strike Zone in Pottsville Pa. I will be there and so will Xact1. If you could make it It would be nice meeting you. Practice session is Fri. from 3-5pm. Qualifying is Sat. A Squad 8:00am , B Squad 2:30pm. We both are on B Squad.

i've got a Razyr and still getting used to it. has a very nice roll to it and if it comes off my hand cleanly just kills the pocket. stronger than you'd think but does not jump at the pocket just a nice smooth roll; even thinking about using it for my spares, especially the 10pins. tried it a little last night and only missed 1 10pin.

Thats cool Bubba.
I was wondering what was happening since they cancelled our league. Usually the shot is safe is around 12-15 board. You should have some good scoring atmosphere.

Jackhammer, were you able to make it down to watch the qualifying round? I will tell you that is one nice little house. 20 lanes, clean and neat. The owners and staff were great people and did an excellent job hosting the tournament.
As for the line, we threw on the Senior Regional #1 pattern. This is the Viper pattern. The shot was excellent. During the practice session we could play down2-5 / swing from 10-2 / play deep inside 18-10. It followed suit for te qualifying. I had a good look all day with my BWS and BW Venom. Bowled B Squad and finished +37 for the tournament. I made some stupid shots in the 8th frame of 4 games that hurt me . All were splits. I stared the day on lanes 17-18 and shot 216. Followed on lanes 19-20 with the first 7 and then I made of those stupid shots were I didn't hit the ball and left my dreaded 2-8-10. But I am happy with the way I bowled.

I'm sorry Bubba. I didn't get to make it down since I had plans to meet with my coach at Palmyra. I was horrible.
Strike Zone is a good house with many different angles to play. I should have told you that the higher lanes seem to score higher. About 3 weeks ago I almost had my 300 on 9 + 10, strung ten in a row for a 289.
I'm glad that you did well
