In 10th frame of our 2nd game in league last night I threw a ball that hit the head pin dead center. Yes I got a split, but felt I could pick it up. Added some speed to next shot at that split. Seemed to be a perfect shot. started to turn my back and thought I saw the pin sweeper comming down. With my back to the lane my team mates started shouting "it's comming back at you" did not look just got the H out of the way then turned to see my NM rolling back at me still at a good speed. Yikes

I've had this happen to me on two occasions. Not the 10th frame, nothing special about the shot, but I go to throw my spare, and the sweep came down. The first time left a nice 1/2 inch wide scratch all around the circumference of my BWP.

It doesn´t sound pretty, never happened to me but i seen it happen to other guys, i bet i´ll get mad if my ball get a scratch taht way.

how far into the tenth were you..sounds like an auto reset in the tenth...do any damage to the pinsetter??

Pin setter was fine. Ball had scuff that cleaned right off. Second ball for a spare. All felt I had it and gave it to me. Don't know if that was legal BUT that is the way it went down. We already had the game locked up.
