Ok , now that the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour is off and running,

I am wondering what everyones opinion is on the new Shirts that we are required to wear.

I am having mine made this week and there are only 5 designs that I like out of the bunch.

Do you like the new Shirts?

Yes or No and Why ?

i kinda like them, still not sure about the front of the shirts, with the superlarge ball manufacturer name...will reserve further opinion until i see the hammer shirt on tv.

today being the first time ive seen the shirt, i really dont like them, maybe i will warm up to them, but my first reaction was that it must have been uncomfortable, and that it looked almost like a hockey jersey. Thats just my opinion.

You're in the PBA tour? haha wow didnt know that.. =P So have you ever met Jason Couch and talked to him? I know one of his brothers or sisters. They are really nice people =) so are his neices. (idk how to spell) Oh and I really think they look comfortable after maybe 1 washing. My highschool's team shirts are like that material. They are like Under Armour, they wick away the sweat and keep you cool. Not to mention they are really smooth and soft most of the time.

I really like them. They are much nicer then what most of the PBA players wore last year, and I am sure that they fit a lot nicer too.

I like the biege one and red one but the rest just seem bleh (no offense to those who like them)

norm duke looked like he was swimming in his. i like sleek, basic designs. keep it like the other sports, nothing to incredibly flashy, simple.

They look really comfortable and its a nice design, something different than the old blah shirts.

Now if only they won't a stupid price for us brits to buy i would get one.

The Blue one with the zipper collar is fine. You do not need the name of your sponsor bigger than your head. Next time Doug, Tony, or Billy"O" is on TV please let him wear the blue with the zipper. Everyone know that a big guy speaks softly and rolls a Hammer to knock down pins, not have them laughing and falling over like they did when they saw Norm Duke in his:D If people need to know what equipment someone is throwing, maybe they should have a close up of that player and their equipment before each game.

Actually, I like them okay. The sponsor patches on the sleeves remind me of Nascar driver suits. They definitely look better than what they wore last year.

The only I like is the Top Left.

Went through the website and alot of those aweful looking... no flashly, bright.

It's cool there are no patches for the guys anymore.. less hassle for their shirts. But I really like the Hammer No Mercy I own, my Burgandy Hammer shirt is pretty nice as well.

If I was gonna buy a Shirt, it would be a Brand Shirt... or a PBA or USBC Shirt. Either that or just buy some Sports Shirts, or plain shirts (Mock or Traditional Bowling Style Shirts).

The Top Right-Logo to big for me.
Bottom Left-is okay just nothing that says wow. (Especially after what you said about prices.)
Bottom Right-the swirl, collar and zipper... not sure what I really think about it. Guess I have to try on this type of shirt.

Just my opinion.

I am not on the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour but I have been on Tour in earlier years. Right now I am on the Eastern Senior regional Tour and next year will be on the Senior PBA Tour. This is a transitional year for the shirts. This year the Exempt player must wear the shirts . The Regional players are optional unless you make the finals.

This is a good way to endorse the people and or companies that sponsor you. One other reason the PBA decided on the Gemini Shirts is they give more room to add sponsor patches fron and back,

OMG :eek: Most of them look like something you'd see in the Tour De France or in a far eastern domestic soccer league.

# 012 = Penrith Panthers NRL jersey (Street will know what I mean)
# 031 = Deutschland Uber Alles
# 032 = Viva Espana
# 036 = Georgia Rugby 7's jersey
# 052 must have been designed by someone from the Ukraine.
# 055 = Nigeria's away kit
# 061 = Englands Rugby Union kit

One thing is for sure - forthcoming events will deffo be more colourful :D


Edit: Re Bubba's shirts, top right and bottom left look ok. I think the button down collar looks a bit odd though and would have been better with black buttons but that's a minor observation I guess.

Bubba I don't believe they are mandatory this year even on the Exempt side. I think this is kind of like there trial.

First year is optional for players.

All of the exempt players who chose to participate this year are required to wear the jerserys during pro ams and on all TV shows . They are also wearing them during competition.

Regional players don't need to buy new shirts this year. There is a patch to cover the Denny's patch that is allowed for one year.

Exempts get 4 free. Regional members can buy them for $65 + $25 to custom design.

The PBA cares what we wear so they can better market the individuals. Each player will have his own design/color/style that can help sell jerseys to the public.

I bowl in Mexico so i donīt know about the shirts but i really liked what you picked the red one the most.
I wish i could buy that stuff here. :(

I agree but what can us Regional players do about it. We have said our peace to the PBA about this but it hasn't changed. I have to go with the flow.

I know that part....I thought you meant the shirts.
