After 8 weeks of the fall league getting used to the Venom and in the process lowering my average to 192 (212 last season) I shot my first 700 (of the season). First game was a 245 with an open in the 8th. Second game was a 226 and I missed a 10 pin in the 10th :mad: . Third game was 246 for a 717.
I only missed the pocket twice all night. 8th frame first game I sent the ball wide and it made it back to the pocket, just not far enough and I left the 2-10. And the 10th frame of the 3rd game I stuck and pulled it through the nose (and about fell on mine) and left the 6,9,10.
Very consistent roll all three games and I didn't make an adjustment at all. I think that was my 50th career 700, but it seems that the first one each season is the toughest one to get.
