ball suggestion

my buddy had to get a lighter ball because of his wrist he got a 12lb BWP and he's done good with it but he wants something else that he can throw more down and in he does'nt want the big sweeping hook anymore. I suggested a weaker ball with a strong drill but then I thought about a strong ball with a weak drill any suggestions on what ball and drill? he throws left handed speed around high 13 to low 14 and lanes are medium oil. thank you for any and all suggestions.

Depending on the ball, at 12lb there is no core. Only a small puck or pancake. So strong or weak drills are not going to be a concern. At that point he is only going to be concerned with cover strength.

Dunno about that. The Vibes go down to 10lb and have the same shape core (although the RG figures change markedly for 12lb and below as opposed to 13lb and upwards). Visionary also have lightweight cores for most of their balls.

Doesn't have to be a pancake/flip block job.

Both the BWP and the Vibe have the old Diesel core in them below 14lbs.
