Well now I went and done it..
I went to have the Sauce drilled before going to work Thursday and also bought a Emerald Vibe they had there on the shelf below the Psycho and a new Maxim Spare ball. The Vibe was $119 drilled plus tax and $10 for finger inserts.. The Maxim was only $59 plus tax and Inserts.
I was close to buying the Psycho they had on the shelf instead of the spare ball but fighured at this point I don't need to. I need to first see where I am at with the Vibe and the Sauce then see if I need something between the two or below the vibe..
Both are drilled with a Strong layout. The lanes were all messed up since they had not been oiled since 2:00 the day before. Using them on spares caused more open frames than normal so the first couple of hames was 170 to 170's ish with 2-3 opens. But now was the time to see how they react on the spare shots. After bowling a couple of games with each ball I was getting used to them somewhat.. I was pressed for time so I rolled one more with the Sauce and shot a 226 with a clean game and even picked up the 6/7 split :D in the 5th after working off of
X 9/ X X in the first 4
I am in love with Hammer again..
I wanted to go with nothing but hammer on all the balls but was not willing to pay $110 for a Hammer Spare ball.. I just can't see it..
Oh and yes they got cleaned before I left the alley to head to work. ;)
I will be going again Sunday so there should be some fresh oil out just before we go. Oh and the shot is 39' house shot with heavy oil in the middle..
I do need to work on my rev rate.. I can feel myself adding more and less from one throw to another.. Just need to get back in a groove..
Sorry for the long post.. I am SOOOooooooooo Excited I can roll the ball like I used to for the most part.. Even Herman said my line will not be the same as it used to due to the oil.. O well.. I can change and adjust just fine.
