Well now I went and done it..

I went to have the Sauce drilled before going to work Thursday and also bought a Emerald Vibe they had there on the shelf below the Psycho and a new Maxim Spare ball. The Vibe was $119 drilled plus tax and $10 for finger inserts.. The Maxim was only $59 plus tax and Inserts.

I was close to buying the Psycho they had on the shelf instead of the spare ball but fighured at this point I don't need to. I need to first see where I am at with the Vibe and the Sauce then see if I need something between the two or below the vibe..

Both are drilled with a Strong layout. The lanes were all messed up since they had not been oiled since 2:00 the day before. Using them on spares caused more open frames than normal so the first couple of hames was 170 to 170's ish with 2-3 opens. But now was the time to see how they react on the spare shots. After bowling a couple of games with each ball I was getting used to them somewhat.. I was pressed for time so I rolled one more with the Sauce and shot a 226 with a clean game and even picked up the 6/7 split :D in the 5th after working off of
X 9/ X X in the first 4
I am in love with Hammer again..

I wanted to go with nothing but hammer on all the balls but was not willing to pay $110 for a Hammer Spare ball.. I just can't see it..

Oh and yes they got cleaned before I left the alley to head to work. ;)

I will be going again Sunday so there should be some fresh oil out just before we go. Oh and the shot is 39' house shot with heavy oil in the middle..
I do need to work on my rev rate.. I can feel myself adding more and less from one throw to another.. Just need to get back in a groove..

Sorry for the long post.. I am SOOOooooooooo Excited I can roll the ball like I used to for the most part.. Even Herman said my line will not be the same as it used to due to the oil.. O well.. I can change and adjust just fine.

When the wife sees the smile on your face, how could she be mad. She will be happy for you. :D A content husband is a good husband.

Sweet good luck with them.

Think your good for a while. Between those balls you'll have most house shots covered. Sauce is strong and you'll move left as they break down. Then when you hit a area that others where bowling, grab the EV and it will get through what they left and hook off the spot. (That area will probably be okay, consider most people don't play to deep. It will be burnt enough that the sauce may or may not work. But the EV will be able to still skid and get through what is left.)

Congrats.

LOL

I told her on the phone when I called her from work that I got the Vibe too.. But didn't mention the spare ball yet.. LOl That's OK she knows I just spent over $300 on her Chrstmas over the last month or so and still have another $100 ish to go.. Guess my Christmas is done.. (except for another 3 ball bag.) Which my Mom is going to check the price of them at the Air Force Base near them.. No tax plus normally there cheaper also..

That's what I was thinking. I was SOOOOOOooooooooooo Close to buying the Psycho or ordering a BWP or Venom. Then I sat back and thought about it and figured I should see how these two roll then go form there.

My rev's are not what they used to be from back in the early 90's due to a wrist injury so that helps when the oil breaks down. LOL Maybe I should look into a one of them wrist supports that locks the wrist in a cupped position. I use a Mongoose now. It more or less just keeps me from breaking my wrist back.
