I have just had my toxic redone, unfortunately was told it was the last time as it wouldn't be legal to do again. My question that i am putting up is what to replace it with? I've seen in these forums where some say they went with the Black Widow Pearl and others have said the Psycho. I do have some time to finish using up my Toxic but want to make a decision on what next. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

One thing that I forgot to add when I started this is that their are guys I bowl with regularly that have the B W P, and when they are throwing those thats when i switch to my cherry vibe on almost identical lines. I know there are alot variables that apply but this is what i've seen. Thanks again.

The closest ball that you could buy now that has a similar movement to the Toxic would be the Psycho, although it will be much stronger in the midlane than the Toxic was.

The toxic was a very skid/flippy ball and had a strong backend motion, so I would say the BWP would fit the bill.

The Emerald Vibe has the same cover as the Toxic, with a different core.

Between the Psycho and BWP, I'd go with the BWP. The Psycho for me isn't skid/flip enough to replace the Toxic, but you might be able to replicate it with a different drilling.

resurfacing so much that another resurface will make the ball's diameter under the legal limits, atleast from what I read thats what it seems like.

Get a Emerald Vibe. Like it has been stated the shells are the same.

The modern bowling ball is shell dominate.

I bought a Cherry Vibe to complement my BW Pearl, and they were both drilled to go short then arc in. I soon found that their was little difference between the two, based on my delivery and ball speed. I ended up selling the Vibe and got another Pearl drilled to go long and am pleased with it. I dont know if this helps, but I have had several people tell me that the Cherry Vibe was a lot stonger that was projected?

Yes everyone that has one says that its a lot stronger than they thought it would be, definately not a light oil ball its more medium like the pearl and the skid flip reaction of both balls puts them pretty close.

As for the topic, I think the Emerald Vibe would be another good option, I thought the choices were only between Pyscho and BWP.

BTW if you want a test BWP, I have one of the For Sale Forums. HINT!:D
