A guy I work with got a ball for christmas from his wife. I guess they went together and picked theres out. About 3 weeks ago I was talking to him about getting a finger tip ball. (he has only used House balls)
I offered to let him learn with one of my old balls before buying. No big deal that he didn't..
Here is the messed up part. I know for a fact he is stronger than me he benches 315 and curls 55# each arm. He is young (late 20's) no problems at all. So why did the friggin pro shop suggest he buy a 12 pound ball then move up??? WTF....
My 11 year old son is rolling a 12 poind ball and he is also new to finger tip. (and doing quite well I might add) My wife just got two 14 pound finger tip balls for christmas. Back when I started rolling fiinger tip I was 15 I had a 15.5 pound ball.
I told him he should be rolling at least a 15 pound. Plus his span is way too long. I told him to go back and have them make it right. Maybe they can put a slug in it and drill towards the top of the thumb hole.
I talked to him tonight and from now on he will be using the same driller I use.
