Hammer is extremely pleased to announce the extension of our very successful high-performance line – Hot Sauce Pearl!

Hot Sauce Pearl starts with the proven Contrusion core, found in the original Sauce. Core features remain the same with a conical base shape combined with a protrusion offset that gives bowlers a low mass bias, non-symmetric shape for great backend movement without sacrificing control.

Hot Sauce Pearl also features our next coverstock in the Aggressive Edge family of coverstocks.

The NEW Skid/Flip Aggressive Edge cover clears the front of the lane and recovers in the backend like no other cover in the Hammer line. This gives the bowler more room at the breakpoint, and a wider target to hit down-lane.
Our new look at high-performance ball motion is enhanced even further by the Hot Sauce Pearl!

I like the name HOT SAUCE. I have to admit, I wasn't originally enthused about the name SAUCE when the first ball was released. The name kept me from buying one initially, UNTIL I saw one on the lanes. Performance overcame the name.

So, any guesses as to future balls in the SAUCE line?

SECRET Sauce
XTRA Sauce
SPECIAL Sauce

Anybody else have any guesses???

Those names were over on ball reviews, they had a guessing game like that with the Sauce. Personally not going to guess names, but I guarantee the next one is The Secret Sauce and it will be a Solid ball, its going to be the biggest hooking ball ever to hit the lanes. Then the "sequel" to that ball will come out and it will be pearl, and will go longer than the Secret Sauce with a much stronger backend reaction.

lol idle i could see that also as its basically same line as the Widows, just different cover and core, but they made the solid, then the pearl, now the solid that hooks more but later, than the LONGEST PEARL EVER lol.

Yup, every ball goes solid, pearl, solid, pearl.

Every solid goes longer and has a stronger backend than the one before it and same with the pearls.

welll, by the end of this year we should see balls going 55' and making a 60degree left turn.

I honestly wouldnt doubt it, because even with how much Hammers hook now, people still want balls that hook even moe, atleast according to the poll on the main page.

You are right idle. people do want to see the ball hook as much as it can. But alot of those people are people who only LIKE to see the ball hook and not have any consistancy in their game.
I can name right now 8 people you and I know that is this way.

i know quite a few of them myself too, but i know one thing...ill take my less hook and down and in and consistantly hittin the pocket game any day of the week over hooking the ball, seems like the older i get the less i need to see the ball hook alot, i just want to be in the pocket knocking 10 pins down every time

The only time I look for a ball that hooks more is the time when I need that more movement in heavier oil. A ball that moves more with different drills whether to make it roll earlier and then move or skid alittle and arc. Grant you there arfe times when the conditions are just to dry and just about anything I throw skids 13 boards right and then hooks 15 boards back to the pocket. But I am usually consistant with the hook. Right idle?

I agree a lot of them are either very low rev bowlers that are buying things to go nuts because they want to see the balls hook example for us would be HM.

But I probably know most of the guys that would be on the list, I know one that I'm pretty close with thats like that too.

Yes, for the big line Bubba plays he is very consistent with his hook and targetting.

I too play a bigger line with high revs but am consistent with hook and targetting, when I am on my game atleast. Lately I have been struggling a little and am usually within a 2-3 board area at the arrrows and like 3-5 at the bp  , Im scoring okish but I hate being inconsistant like that because I hate people that squirt the ball everywhere so its very frustrating even if I strike on a shot like that.

Have had people saying to me the past couple weeks, that was a really nice shot and I say back, no it wasnt at all but thanks, I get a confused look and was like I missed 3-5 and I still get this look so I usually give up trying to explain because they think as long as the pins go down that theres nothing to fix with the shot.

Bubba I guarantee you know the person Im talking about that said that, lefty..
