Yesterday my son (9yrs old) rolled his third sancationed 100+ for a new High of 120. My wife said he lost focus the next game was in the 50's. Was hoping he have bowled his average for his first 200 series.

Had to have them Pre-Bowl. She had him rolling a 10#, been waiting to make sure he is ready. Think he is getting there.

The ball we have is a Attack Zone (Blue Sanded Urethane)

how old is he ? Think he's ready for...What? that weight of ball? If he can handle it sure. My 5 y.o. throws a 10# Razyr and has an 88 ave (bumper league) although he rare uses them anymore. He handles that weight just fine... So if he seems to be able to throw it with out a struggle I'd say let him.

just my $0.02

He is 9, think we are going to be going finger tip as well. Ready for a 10# ball.

I just moved my 10 y.o into finger tip a month and he loves it. He can definately get more control on the ball.
