Money may talk, but that don't mean you're going to "buy" a game. Go ask Boise State about that one. That,"We'll Show Up And Play Anyone" thing sure fizzled for them. I just watched Bob Stoops laugh at his press conference when asked if OU would take BSU's "offer"....

I think his reply went along the lines of,"Hell ain't froze over" or "When pigs fly". Something like that.

I do know that Florida has the same problem filling out it's schedule every year. Since the SEC schedule comes first,it's really hard to find schools that will come to The Swamp and let their high flying offenses get pounded by Florida's D. Even the Homecoming Game has been moved to an SEC game.

Think any of those schools are getting up to kill off the Longhorns season??? Think FSU wouldn't love to stick it to Florida in The Swamp??? Every Auburn fan I know is foaming at the mouth to knock off 'Bama. The ugliness has just started.
Had to respond to this before I leave work for the day. Texas A&M and Texas is bigger than Texas and OU here in Texas. I remember a couple years ago, Longhorns were undefeated going in to a 3 win Aggie game. The outcome, Texas got slaughtered by A&M and that ended the perfect season. Would love to see that happen again this year, after all I am an Aggie fan.

If Texas beats A&M I would like to see Auburn win and Bama win over Florida, likely to happen, I doubt it. But I still want to see an all Texas NC.

I really am impressed with TCU. About time the Horned Frogs get some love. Dan Jenkins must be beside his ownself these days....

Texas v OU is much bigger than Texas v A&M maybe not in your area of Texas but Texas is a big state and I have several friends in the state and Texas v OU is like Christmas to them.

Hmmm, I disagree. Born and raised in Texas and so was my father. Lived in north Texas, now in the Gulf Coast region. Family live in San Antonio and Austin, plus wifes Grandparents live in New Mexico and travel through west Texas often to visit family.

Texas vs Texas A&M is bigger than Texas and OU. Red River Shootout is great, but the in state rivalry of these two teams is indescribable. Here in Texas we classify you as Longhorn or Aggie, nothing else. While Texas and OU is great for the northern part of the state, it does not include the rest. Texas and A&M involves the whole state which makes it a bigger game.
