I have only one more night on my fri. late league and no more fri. early.

Almost a clean set. I missed my spare in the 29th frame. Shot 659.

It was the best looking 659 you will ever see. In the pocket all night, ball looked good on every shot.

Not a comfortable week for me. Struggled with timing and accuracy both nights. Finally got comfortable toward the end of the second game Tuesday.

Monday - 224, 191, 210 = 625
Tuesday - 212, 233, 289 = 734

Finished the second game with the last 6. First frame of the second game I left a solid 4 pin. It was strange, the head pin hit the side wall and took out the 7 pin with the crown as it was flying OVER the 4. Then went next 10 and left a weak 7 pin on the last shot.

Tues: 259, 171, 177 = 607. I think my original BWS just can't make the corner anymore. Kept getting light hits/splits the 2nd and 3rd game when I moved in. But if there is oil, its a solid 245-259 game everytime.

Thurs: 269, 237, 212= 718. Used a mission 2.0 (15lb) with good polish on it.

Wednesday, 4/18:

The Pursuit-S is no joke.

Every person on my pair was throwing the same line. 9 other people throwing the same line with the same shot causes that line to break down and FAST. Warmup was okay, but it broke down by the 3rd frame of the first game.

So I pulled out the Pursuit-S (coast-coast ball), and was 6 boards left of them all night. Then when my ball started to catch their carry down... well.. that's what the Pursuit and Pursuit-S were made for.

203+269+210=682.

Definitely getting both punched up... unless Hammer pulls out something better with their new arsenal coming up!

Last night of bowling for me...
213, 218 and 231 for 662
would have been a lot better, but it was still "really cold outside" and my trips through that snow bank always seemed to break up a pair of small strings.

Looks like I might have held onto my 2nd place league high ave (221.8)
league high was about 150 pins ahead of us,... but 2nd thru 5th place was only separated by about 75 pins in the "total pins for the year" going into last night

4/20 TGIF League


- 199 - 235 - 203 = 637 Series, 96 game average 230.72

- was position night tonight, we ended up tying for 1st and had to have a 1 game roll-off to determine the winner of the 2nd half. We came up short in the roll-off and had to settle for 2nd place. Not to bad though, 3rd place in the 1st half, and 2nd place in the 2nd half out of 22 teams.
