To make my ball move I try to:

1) make sure I have a slight upward cocking of wrist;
2) spread out my pointer and pinkie fingers;
3) point my feet at 45 degree angle, basically point at headpin of lane to my right;
4) make sure on follow through that my non-slide foot does not gumbie but ends up crossing behind me.
5) I also try to rotate hand on release about 3 hours of possible 12 hours on clock; and
6) trust that the ball will do what it will do and give it room to do it.

If that does not work I would sand ball down like Billy O and take down to 1000 or less grit.

These are mostly things I have learned from Bowl 4 fun.com articles and trial and error. As usual I am not qualified to give any advice and if you listen to me you may hurt yourself.

Default Rev's are nice, but....

Rev's are nice, but there is no replacement for a well executed shot.

Where your fingers are at release increase or decrease the amount of revs you get. Under the mid-line you increase. Above the mid-line, decrease. Also your hand needs to be behind the ball as the thumb releases and rotate through the follow thru

I seem to get into a lot of trouble when I try to help the ball. My best games have come when I've gotten out of my own way
