2013 USBC Open Patterns Released

Yes, you heard right: PATTERNS.

We complained, we asked, and they listened. This year, the USBC is going to lay down fresh oil between each shift instead of only for the team shifts. That means that Doubles and Singles will have fresh oil...

However, they never said that it would be the same pattern for all events! So this year, Doubles and Singles gets a fresh dressing on the lanes, but a different pattern altogether than the team event. bowl.com and BowlTV revealed those patterns today. So it looks like we'll finally get that versatility that we need. But it will also help to watch the video they put together for it, plus if you want practice on the D/S pattern, you could enter the Bowler's Journal Tournament, which will be using that pattern, plus won't be at the Grand Sierra this year. All of the events will be at the Stadium!

Either way, now that the patterns are out, have your alley lay 'em down and have a crack at it!
