I recently made the upgrade from 2 13 year old balls, one was a Ebonite Gyro Pro and the other a Columbia 300 Black Shadow. Both balls worked ok in medium to heavy oil, but were better on drier lanes. I purchased the Hawg Zilla yesterday and bowled a couple games with it tonight. First game I was messing around trying out different spots to stand and different boards to throw it, but after the first game I found the spot and shot a 233 the second game. The Hawg Zilla is the first Hammer I've ever thrown and its amazing, the way the ball moves back into the pocket from just about anywhere is great. I highly recommend this ball for the bowler lookin for the edge.

Pain, Doom or Widow
If you r bowling on down 10 board and if its a THS, the zilla might b too strong out there, thats what i think anyway, but i maybe wrong, do u know your rpm? or close to it

Hey Street Racer, what is your average? You gotta be good to have all those balls. I used to think 1 or 2 balls is enough, but now that I have the Hawg Zilla and have been reading about bowling balls, I think I need a couple more myself, LOL. I dont know if your talking to me or not, but I dont know my rpms or speed, never got it checked.

I agree with StreetRacer, the ZILLA is probable to strong for the down & in shot.
Jedi47 has the right idea, the BW loves to eat pins. get it drilled for length with a strong back end and watch the pins beg for mercy

Thanks for the help I'm guessing my rpm is around 15+or- I need to take time an get all that figured out.I'm not set on down and in shot in the past I've took the quake gutter to gutter it's a good (OLD) ball I'll keep it for seven pins and as needed I'm just trying to get the most bang for the buck.Again thanks for the help.

I throw both my Hawg & Black Widow down & in....They both chew pins to bits,,,,,which one I use is determined by the amount of and pattern of the lane grease
