Default First Hammer Ball

So I decided to try Hammer products. I just got my BWP (Skid/Flip/Medium Track) drilled today. Almost cried putting holes in it because it looked so nice. My previous ball was a Columbia Big Bully. It was actually a good ball. At first I was going to wait a few days to try it out, but I said what the heck....

.....215...225...and 266. This ball is amazing. You can see the difference in the ball when it hits...ok...destroys the pins. I can't wait to get back out there! Thank you hammer!

....Cant wait to get my BW Clear and it looks like I will be getting the BWBite as well.

...So that leaves me with needing a ball for dry conditions...I am looking at getting the Blue Vibe (Length Layout/Medium Track) to complete the arsenal. Any other suggestions???

Boomer, Welcome to the Hammer message board . it's sure good to have you. Congrats on the BWp and great bowling. I take it you are now a HammerHead !

As for a ball that you are looking to ad for drier conditions, I would suggest the Cherry Vibe instead of the Blue Vibe. IMO the Blue Vibe moves alot more that you think. I would suggest the Cherry Vibe and have it drilled either weak for real dry conditions or the standard lyout length with backend. This ball does go long and it has a nice movement on the back end but not as strong as the BV.

Yes welcome Boomer & congrats on your success w/the BWP.

I too used the BYB before seeing the light and rolling a Widow. Both balls had similar length but the Widow's backend reaction and pin carry were far more than I ever expected. Needless to say I have not thrown my BYB in over a year.

On the Hammer web site the blue Vibe is listed as the best for dry lanes...
I just throw my old hammer urethane for dry or lite oil, works great...
