I've had mine since it first came out, and it still rolls like it did from day one. I take very good care of my equipment, so maintenance is key. I say go for it, and I'm sure everyone here will tell you the same.

I've had mine since league started. We're on week 26 this week. I've probably bowled 10-15 practice games with it as well. It's lost nothing. But, I am having it resurfaced at the end of the season anyway.

Yea I think the polish actually helps to preserve the performance.

I have had mine since it came out and I have had no experience with performance loss with the BWP. The BWP is a speed and condition sensitive ball and I bet the one that can not get it to react now hasn't given them a bath yet. They should try a coverstock adjustment also. All I can say is if you like the ball and have a rigerous cleaning regime, the ball will preform. Do not be affraind to buy this ball.

Smile re pearl

i have had my pearl almost a year now in summer league and fall/winter league so now has had 34 weeks avg 7 games a week and its been handling it all well had it resurfaced last week and doing good with mine. keep it wiped and clean it regularly and should be fine. i do know 1 guy who is a cranker didnt like his but it doesnt fit his usual game anyway.

Yea, he said 3 months ? Thats about enough time for the oil to gum it up when regular maintenance is not performed. I would say they didnt clean them or remove the oil

Default any suggestions

I just purchased a black widow pearl and it has a tremendous back end. Something I'm not used to. What would be the best polish or procedure to tame this down a little. I'm starting way left and throwing way right and still coming in brooklyn.

Make sure you are not walking right as you approach.. Thats usually what causes me to throw brooklyn.
