Default RICO layout??

I've been around along time and I've never seen such a hype about this layout. I was thinking about buying a ball just to drill it up RICO style. What do you guys think of this?? All my kids that I coach want to ask me what I think anf I honestly can't answer them. I've done a little research but not much. What's the purpose, positive thoughts, negatives, etc.

ok from what I have read about this layout it is a layout mainly to try to take the conditions out of the equation, its a very even reacting ball, it works great on wet/dry. I havent tried one so really cant give positive or negative,I know a lot of guys on here have them so Im sure they can.

I have a Rico'd Scout and from what I've seen on my ball and other people's balls, it makes them react much more predictably. The carry will suffer if you go with a low end ball, carry is really based on how aggressive the cover is because this drill will seriously kill the flare on a ball.

That's what I thought. The (little) research I have done states the same thing. I am going to buy another (Widow Solid or Pearl) and drill it up RICO style.

Would go with the solid myself, pearl just is too squirty OOB, the solid should work very nicely I would think.

Actually I'd go with the Solid, more aggressive covers are better, if you got the Pearl and did it, you'd need to mess with the cover some. I'd say go with the Solid, it is smoother and it will carry better. The Bite would be a pretty good choice too.

Out of all the stuff Hammer has, I'd take the Anger and Rico it personally, it would carry like a monster.
